Since the last time I posted to the blog much has happened in my life, including moving.  As most of you can relate to when moving, you usually find things long ago forgotten.  My rediscovered treasure was a book that I was given called the Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.  It is a story about a boy and a tree that gives him gifts throughout his lifetime.   Many say this story speaks to the fact that many in our society ask for a great deal and rarely give in return.

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein

Well as we enter this holiday season, I wanted to highlight jewelry gifts that can be purchased for the benefit of a loved one and a charity.  What better way to give than to gift to a loved one and a charity at the same time.  I hope that this holiday season greats each of you with an appreciation for all of the gifts that you have been given, including your loved ones.  In honor of my loved ones, I am donating 50% of any “crossing the bar” proceeds to the Cancer Society.

Enjoy!
